Rick Harrington

Pastor for Preaching and Vision

Pastor Rick has been serving FBC Haverhill as the senior pastor for 14 years and on staff for over 20 years. Rick grew up in Haverhill, and loves to travel the world, read good books, drink quality coffee, and spend time with his wife and two kids. His passion is to see the church deeply in love with Jesus, spreading the fame of His Name throughout the globe.


Pastor Rick graduated from Gordon College (B.A.) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (M.Div), and holds a doctorate degree in preaching from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (D.Min). Rick serves as the Provost of the Multiplication Center of the Baptist Churches of New England. 


He is the author of "Churching: Rediscovering the Centrality of the Church in the Christian Life." Rick has published with Baptist Press, The Baptist Paper, and The New York Times.

Mike Sperring

Pastor for Global Missions

Pastor Mike is a graduate of Washington Bible College (B.A in Biblical Studies) and Capital Bible Seminary (Th.M. in New Testament Greek). He is pursuing studies towards a D.Min in Biblical Counseling. He has been doing ministry for almost 50 years, serving as a Christian school teacher, a youth pastor, an associate pastor, a lecturer of continuing education with Washington Bible College, a missionary to the Dominican Republic where he taught New Testament Greek to men and women preparing for a life of Gospel ministry at the Seminario Biblico Cristiano and assisting with new church plants.

Kina Forman

Administrative Assistant to the Lead Pastor

Kina comes to us with 34 years of administrative and ministry experience, working with Chosen People Ministries and Jews for Jesus. She attended Washington Bible College and graduated from Nyack College (BS Missiology). She loves spending time with her husband and three kids. She will most likely be the first voice you’ll hear on the phone or first face you will see if you stop in for a visit. So give us a call or come on by!

Jessica Harrington

Kid Town Director

Jessica has served with children and teenagers at FBC Haverhill for the last 14 years and now is the volunteer director of our Kid Town ministry. Jessica has a Bachelor of Science degree from Merrimack College in Civil Engineering and worked in that field until becoming a stay-at-home mom with her two children. She now also works as an administrator assistant for VP of a missions organization. She loves to read good books, drink iced coffee, and minister to women, kids and kids-at-heart!

Darcy Randall

Accountant

Darcy has over 20 years of experience in the financial field. She takes care of the day-to-day bookkeeping and financial reporting. She and her husband, Phil, grew up at FBC. She enjoys reading and spending time with Phil and their three kids Taylor, Morgan, and Molly.
