Rick Harrington

Pastor for Preaching and Vision

Pastor Rick has been serving FBC Haverhill as the lead pastor for over 12 years and on staff for 20 years. Rick grew up in Haverhill, and after seminary felt the Lord's calling to return and minister in his hometown. He loves to travel the world whenever possible; watch and play sports, read good books and spend time with his wife and two kids. His passion is to see the church deeply in love with Jesus, spreading the fame of His Name into the community and throughout the earth.


Pastor Rick graduated from Gordon College (B.A.) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (M.Div), and holds a doctorate degree in preaching from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (D.Min).


He is the author of the books "How to Find a Church: Seven Steps to Becoming Part of a Spiritual Family" and "The Weight of Preaching: Heralding the Gospel of Grace"

Mike Sperring

Pastor for Global Missions

Mike is a graduate of Washington Bible College (BA in Religious Education) and Capital Bible Seminary (Th. M. in NT Greek). He has also done extensive post-graduate work in Biblical Counseling at Westminster Theological Seminary. He has been involved in multiple ministry streams for more than 45 years. He has served in jails and city missions as an evangelist, as a middle school and high school teacher in a small Christian school, as a youth pastor of a Korean church, as an instructor of continuing education with Washington Bible College, a decade as a missionary with UFM Int., currently known as Crossworld, in the Dominican Republic, with a primary focus on Theological Education, training future pastors and church leaders at SEBICCA (a Bible College there) and collaborating in new church-plants, and as an Associate Pastor with varying roles at several churches over the past 3 decades. Mike and his wife Cheryl have four grown children and nine grandchildren.

Kina Forman

Administrative Assistant to the Lead Pastor

Kina comes to us with 30 years of administrative and ministry experience, working with Chosen People Ministries and Jews for Jesus. She attended Washington Bible College and graduated from Nyack College (BS Missiology). She loves spending time with her husband, Mitch, and 3 children, Kaelee, Alana & Joshua. She will most likely be the first voice you’ll hear on the phone or first face you will see if you stop in for a visit. So give us a call or come on by!

Jessica Harrington

Kid Town Director

Jessica has served with children and teenagers at FBC Haverhill for the last 14 years and now is the volunteer director of our Kid Town ministry. Jessica has a Bachelor of Science degree from Merrimack College in Civil Engineering and worked in that field until becoming a stay-at-home mom with her two children. She now also works as an administrator assistant for VP of a missions organization. She loves to read good books, drink iced coffee, and minister to women, kids and kids-at-heart!

Darcy Randall

Accountant

Darcy has 20 years of experience in the financial field. She takes care of the day-to-day bookkeeping and financial reporting. She and her husband, Phil, grew up at FBC. She enjoys reading and spending time with Phil and their three kids Taylor, Morgan, and Molly.
