Our Ministries
Come and be part of our Ministries!
Sunday School – There are classes for all ages meeting at 9:30am on Sundays: everyone from the nursery to kids to teens to our adult classes. Come study the Bible with others every Sunday morning. The kids CE are currently using curriculum from Great Commission Publications. To look over our New Members Class on-line click HERE.
Prayer Meeting – Every Wednesday night at 6:30pm we meet together for prayer. Come with us to the presence of God in prayer.
Missions - We hope FBC will always be a missions-minded church. We support foreign missionaries as well as local missions. We send members on missions trips regularly. For the past few years we have sent a team to LaRomana, DR.
Music Ministry – We love to sing praises to God together as a church. To do so, we have a full praise team and a full choir. If you are interested in ministering to the congregation in leading worship through music please speak to either Dave and Cher Spaulding for the praise team or Ruth Cranton for Choir! Choir meets for practice on Wednesday nights at 7:15pm.
Men’s Ministry – We meet together as men once a month for Food & Fellowship, Worship & Word on the First Friday of the month, 7pm. We also have various men’s groups meeting throughout the week.
Women’s Ministry – We meet once a month as well for a meal, fellowship, and study on the third Friday of the month, for Ladies’ Night Out. There are women’s groups throughout the week.
Bible Studies – In addition to Men’s and Women’s groups we have all different types of small group Bible studies. A couple’s study meets on Sunday nights as well as a Tuesday night study at FBC.
Youth Ministry – Sunday nights at 6:00pm our ministry to 7-12th graders meet. The vision: to become a gospel-centered community. They study together, play games, go on trips, support missions, and have a lot of fun. Check out their website HERE
Children’s Ministry – In addition to our Sunday school classes we also have Adventures in the Bible during the Worship Service and Children’s Choir which practices during the week.
Open Hearts Ministry – Every Sunday @ 2pm we meet at our Fellowship Hall kitchen to provide a meal for those in need. Come to help out, or if needed come for a meal. Take a look at Open Hearts’ website HERE
In addition there are numerous other ministries such as Ushering, the Baptist Beavers, committees, etc.. We hope you get involved and use the spiritual gifts that God has given you to serve the Lord!
